MENTAL STIMULATION .... ?

What is mental stimulation for your dog? We love our dogs and want them to be happy and healthy but what is mental stimulation? It can be a nice long walk in a new area, a walk outside their own yard, a game of fetch, or hiding treats around the home giving them the opportunity to use their nose. We sometimes forget that dogs can do many jobs and were bred to have jobs like using their noses. You ever wonder why your dog barks obsessively and no matter how much yard time they get they wont stop barking or they will bark at everything that goes by? They need mental stimulation, they are bored! Puzzles, daily training session, something to entertain their brain, you will see the difference and you will have less barking!
